Bubba Dowling our oldest 4 legged baby passed away today April 27, 2017. Bubba became a member of the Dowling family in 2003. We welcomed a green eyed bundle of fur joy with open arms. Bubba under went basic training at PETCO in Jacksonville, FL and quickly became head of his class, even though he was the only student in pet training school at that time. Bubba was always ready to go places with his family and became very skilled in making his "humans" feel guilty when he was left at home.
Bubba loved to play with toys that make squeaky sounds, and had even "stole" a purple pig from his nephew Mo. A big deal as Mo was a lab that was twice his size, but when Mo went home we discovered that squeaky purple pig was in Bubba's bed. Bubba loved doing tricks for his Humans which included "stick them up" he would raise his front paws as high as he could and then "play dead" as he rolled over on his back waiting until he heard the magic word "SNACK or TREAT" to which he would bounce back to life.
When Bubba made the choice to "move out" of mom and dad's home in 2013, he moved in with his human brother Mike, Kerrie, and Alexis. Bubba quickly showed Mike who the boss was and continued to maintain Kerrie and Alexis wrapped around his little paw. When the "girls" came home Bubba would "tell" on Mike to get extra hugs and kisses. When bedtime came around you would find Bubba curl up next to Alexis or in Kerrie lap.
Bubba is survived by his "Humans", Mike, Kerrie, Alexis, and his "human" parents Saundra and Alton. Bubba was laid to rest in Folkston GA
